Community Based Services
Most of Wyandot Center’s services for youth and families take place in the community—in the home, in schools, churches and recreation centers. Wyandot Center staff builds on the strengths of young consumers and identifies natural and professional supports to help them be successful in life.
Services include:
- Case management
- Youth support
- Parent support
- Groups to learn and model behavioral skills
- Psychiatric services and medicine clinic
- Adolescent outpatient substance abuse treatment
- Specialized day treatment in a school setting
- Crisis respite care for families
- Project Redirect for youth and families involved with the court system, or who have had involvement with the Juvenile Intake and Assessment Center
- Wyandot Academy offering specialized day treatment in a school setting
- School-based programs training youth in peer counseling and HIV prevention

Affordable services
Wyandot Center provides services according to a sliding fee scale based on family size and household income. HealthWave, Medicaid and Medicare are accepted. Health insurance may cover a portion of our services.
Services will not be denied due to inability to pay. Wyandot Center provides available services to people regardless of race, color, religion, age, disability, gender or national origin.
