Our goal is to support recovery for adults with severe and persistent mental illness. We focus on each person’s strengths, interests and potential for growth. Case managers, psychiatrists, nurses, peer support specialists and other staff help integrate consumers into the community. As individuals who have experienced rehabilitation and recovery, consumer providers offer important peer support. Adult services include:
Case management
Groups focused on recovery
Psychiatric services and medicine clinic
Vocational rehabilitation; job development and job placement
Attendant care
Respite care
Supportive housing
An outreach center for persons who are homeless and in need
Liaison services with the court system and state hospitals
Certified peer support
ArtMakers’ Place (art therapy, psychosocial groups)
Partner Animals for Wellness (PAW) (pet program)

Specialized and Innovative Services
Supportive housing to help individuals transition from homelessness to housing and to maintain permanent housing.

Frank Williams Outreach Center, open seven days a week, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; visitors can take showers, do laundry, use the phones and computers, be referred to Wyandot Center mental health services, and seek housing opportunities; also available, substance abuse services provided by Heartland RADAC.
